US seafood firm Icicle Seafoods has announced three senior appointments.

Chris Ruettgers has been appointed CEO. Ruettgers has served as Icicle's executive vice president of strategy and corporate development since joining the company in 2011 and has been a member of the board of directors since 2007.

He succeeds Amy Humphreys, who was appointed CEO in 2013. Humphreys has taken up the position of chairman of the board of directors.

LaDon Johnson has been named president. He is already Icicle's CFO and will retain that role.
