Seven & i Holdings has announced tie-up with West Japan Railway Co that will see it operate 500 plus convenience stores at railway stations in Japan.
Seven-Eleven Japan, a Seven & i subsidiary, said that it will convert existing outlets as well as “promoting new store openings”.

The deal will see about 300 Kiosk and 200 Heart-in stores operated by a JR West unit based in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, turned into Seven-Eleven Kiosk and Seven-Eleven Heart-in stores.
The project will commence in early June and is expected to be completed within five years.
