PepsiCo claims to be introducing a “new chip style” with the launch of Lay’s Kettle cooked lattice cut potato chips.

The potatoes are “sliced thick” and cut into a “unique open-cut lattice shape” before being kettle-cooked, PepsiCo said.

The product is available in two flavours: aged cheddar with black pepper and roasted garlic with sea salt.

Lay’s Kettle cooked lattice cut potato chips are available throughout the US with an RRP of of US$3.49 for a seven ounce bag and $1.49 for a 2.5 ounce bag.
