German discount retail chain Lidl plans to open between 25 and 30 supermarkets in Hungary this spring.
Lidl, which has so far invested HUF5bn (US$22.2m) in its Hungarian operations, plans to open the new stores mainly in eastern Hungary, reported the Hungarian News Digest.
