Kellogg relaunched the lines in Iran earlier this month via local distributor Tehran Bouran. Cereals on sale include Coco Pops and Corn Flakes. The Pringles range on sale in Iran includes sour cream and onion, as well as paprika.

The products are being made at sites in the UK, Belgium and Spain.

“We plan to bring our products to market through our local distributor, Tehran Bouran, so a host of local retailers will stock these products from supermarkets to smaller and larger scale retailers in all regions across Iran,” Kellogg told just-food.

On the prospects of its cereals in Iran, the company added: “Consuming cereal for breakfast is already a growing trend in Iran, with the cereals category  already well-established in the local market.”
