Campbell Soup Co.-owned organic kids food maker Plum Organics has expanded into soups with the launch of a range of single-serve pouches.

The line has three flavours – chicken noodle, tomato and turkey meatball, and chicken fiesta. Each option offers “flavourful veggies” and “at least” 7g of protein, Plum said.

While Plum said it has developed soups “kids will love”, the company added the products could be enjoyed by the “whole family”.

“At Plum, our mission has always been to get the very best food to all little ones from the very first bite, and our kids’ organic soup line is a natural extension of that mission,” said Neil Grimmer, co-founder and CEO of Plum Organics. “As the father of two school-age girls, I understand the struggle busy parents often face to find quick, kid-friendly, organic foods they can feel good about serving without skimping on the nutrition their kids need to thrive. Our goal in developing Soups is to help families across the country meet that need.”

The range is available throughout the US with an RRP of US$2.99.
