Under the agreement, BASF will transfer its premix customers in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa to the international companies of nutrient systems provider Fortitech, which will assume ownership of BASF’s premix manufacturing facilities in Denmark and Malaysia.

BASF will also become the primary supplier of a broad range of nutritional ingredients to Fortitech.

This JV has been planned to strengthen both BASF’s and Fortitech’s positions in the supply of nutritional ingredients and nutrient systems.

Fortitech president Walter Borisenok stated: “This new JV represents a significant commitment by Fortitech to expand its global presence, particularly in Europe and Asia.
