Norwegian fish products group Leroy Seafood Group revealed earlier today [Monday] that is has completed its acquisition of a 51% stake in a Swedish seafood group for 19.6m Swedish crowns (US$2.1m).

Last year the group, which consists of three companies, Strannes Roekeri AB, Strannes Delikatesser AB and Smogen Seafood, posted a pre-tax profit of SKr8m on turnover of SKr79m.
Under the deal, Leroy Seafood Group will acquire the remaining 49% of the group’s shares on 1 July 2003.
