US food giant Kraft Foods has acquired Turkish snacks company Kar Gida from conglomerate Kar Group. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. The acquisition of Kar Gida, which reported revenue of US$35m in 2001, is expected to increase significantly Kraft’s growth in Turkey, reported the Wall Street Journal.
