The supermarket chain of Dutch retailer Ahold, Albert Heijn, has announced that it will end its boycott of a number of Unilever products, having reached an agreement with the Anglo-Dutch consumer products giant.

Albert Heijn, the biggest Dutch supermarket company, began removing several Unilever products from its shelves ten days ago in order to put pressure on Unilever during negotiations over pricing.


Many Albert Heijn supermarkets still have Unilever products in stock due to the brevity of the boycott, so products will be available in stores from today [Tuesday].
