US food brands producer and marketer Aurora Foods announced today [Thursday] that it has promoted William F. Parker to the position of senior vice president of sales.
Parker is replacing Thomas J. Youngerman, who has been with Aurora since 1995 and will continue to serve in a consultative role with the Company.
Parker joined Aurora earlier this year and was most recently vice president for club sales, where he oversaw the company’s sales efforts to large volume retail outlets.
Prior to joining Aurora, Parker was vice president, sales for Delimex, the frozen Mexican foods manufacturer that is now part of H.J. Heinz. Prior to Delimex, he held several sales management positions with Campbell Soup. Parker began his career in sales with General Foods.
