The small village of Kangos in the Pajala municipality of Norrbotten, Sweden, plans to become an international travel destination renowned for its locally-produced gourmet food, according to the Northern Sweden Inward Investment Agency (NSIIA).

Kangos is already known as a centre for genuine food from Norrland but plans to hold training programmes and courses in the village next year for entrepreneurs within the food, tourism and culture sectors.
One of the long-term goals of the village is to become a holiday destination for Chinese tourists interested in genuine food traditions, NSIIA said.
