Confectionery firm Swizzels Matlow is planning a ‘substantial’ investment to promote its Love Hearts fizzy confectionery brand ahead of St Valentine’s Day 2005.


The company will launch a television advertising campaign on children’s satellite channels beginning in mid-January, the first time the brand has been advertised on TV for 20 years, reported The Grocer.


The advertising ties in with a major on-pack promotion that will offer the chance to win prizes such as a tour of the confectionery firm’s factory and a family holiday to Euro Disney.
