The Nebraska-based business, set up in 2017, is to build a new facility in neighbouring South Dakota.

Wholestone Farms said the project is estimated to cost US$500m. The pork harvest and processing plant will be located in Sioux Falls.
The company is owned by 200 farmers based in the upper Midwest.
