Europe was the fastest-growing region for the hiring of artificial intelligence-related jobs among food manufacturers in the three months ending March, GlobalData suggests.
The number of roles on offer in Europe made up 24% of total AI jobs, up from 19.8% in the same quarter last year.

GlobalData tracks the number of new job postings from key companies in various sectors over time. Using textual analysis, these job advertisements are then classified thematically. Overall, the top country for AI roles in the food industry was the US, which housed 37.9% of all roles advertised in the three months ending March.

Some 8.1% of all food industry AI roles were advertised in Plano in the US in the three months ending March.
That was followed by Barcelona with 5.9%, Bengaluru in India with 4.8% and Plaisir in France with 3.8%.
