Oman-based condiments and sauces maker AATCO Food Industries has opened a new food processing plant in Saudi Arabia.

The plant, in Jeddah’s industrial area, will produce condiments including mayonnaise and ketchup.

AATCO ‘s managing director Dr. Kamel Abdallah said the plant is aimed at serving the needs of the company’s “rapidly expanding customer base” in the GCC, Levant, Africa, Asia and Oceania regions.

“The new plant will also enable us to accommodate even further growth in the region,” added Dr. Abdallah. “AATCO is now uniquely positioned to meets the needs of our food solutions, HoReCa and retail customers.”

The plant is said to have fully automated filling lines at all stages to ensure no manual intervention and to food safety.

AATCO produces sauces and salad dressings sold under the Delicio, Khaburah, Barka and Al Bustan brands. It also supplies products to quick service restaurants in over 30 countries.
