ALGERIA: Government denies reports that milk price will rise
Reports in today's newspapers that the price of milk is to rise dramatically have been denied by the Algerian ministry of industry and restructuring. In response to the reports, the ministry stressed: "Only the government has the power to decide on the price of milk." It explained that the misunderstanding was caused when the ministry’s director expressed the opinion of Algerian milk producers.
