Saudi food group Almarai has appointed COO Georges Schorderet as its new chief executive.
Previous CEO Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadley resigned last week after being named Saudi Arabia’s new agriculture minister.
Schorderet joined Almarai in 2004 as the dairy-to-bakery group’s CFO. He became COO in 2011.
