The revision was ordered by Disco’s new management, who were installed recently after an investigation into the unit was carried out by Ahold.

In a press release to the local bourse, Disco asked for permission to postpone the release of results until 12 May, although it said it would try to release them prior to that date.

The company said the revision of the accounts “would include not only the company headquarters in the city of Buenos Aires, but also the main regional units” in Argentina, reported Dow Jones Business News.
