Supermarket sales in Argentina rose in February in their biggest year-on-year increase in the last three years.
According to data from the national statistics office, supermarket sales rose 7.6% in February compared to the year-ago period, reported Dow Jones News.
January supermarket sales rose 5.6% compared to January 2003, but were 0.4% lower than in December 2003.
February’s 7.6% rise is the largest year-on-year increase in three years. The biggest previous rise was 6.5% in October last year.
