ARGENTINA/CHILE: Camilo Ferron buys Unilever plant in Chile
Argentinean fats and oils company Camilo Ferron has acquired a Chilean fats and oils facility from Unilever Bestfoods, the food division of Anglo-Dutch consumer products giant Unilever. The factory, which has 50 employees and an annual production capacity of 150,000 metric tons, will be Camilo Ferron’s fourth plant, reported El Cronista.

The factory, which has 50 employees and an annual production capacity of 150,000 metric tons, will be Camilo Ferron’s fourth plant, reported El Cronista.
Camilo Ferron, which said the acquisition was part of its overseas expansion strategy, will continue to market Unilever brands such as Chef and Cristal in Chile.
