Organic frozen food maker, Artisan Bistro, has launched Seafood Bowls – its first Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified line.
Available in four varieties, each offering features sustainably-sourced seafood, including wild-caught Alaskan salmon and cod, and wild pink shrimp sourced from fisheries that have been certified as sustainable against the global MSC standard.
"Our goal with the launch of these bowls is to create the best tasting, best for you frozen meals on the market, while preserving the ocean’s bounty for our children and grandchildren. Our new Seafood Bowls allow everyone to enjoy the convenience of a frozen meal and still feel great about the food they’re eating," said Leo Griffin, CEO at Artisan Bistro Foods.
"Featuring wild-caught MSC certified sustainable seafood, in addition to at least 70 percent organic and non-GMO ingredients, as in all of our products, these new Seafood Bowls are clean, delicious, and good-for-you options that meet the highest culinary and ethical standards."
The new Seafood Bowls will be available from April at a suggested retail price of US$5.39.
