Atria, the Finland-based meat group, today (17 December) recorded a EUR9m goodwill write-down amid challenging trading conditions in Estonia.

The company said it would book a write-down of EUR9.1m during the last quarter of the year.

“The challenging market environment in Estonia has weakened the expected return of Atria Baltic’s business,” it said.

Atria added the move would “affect” EBIT without providing details.
