Research driven biopharmaceutical company Anadis has announced progress in its collaboration with SPC Ardmona Operations in the development of lifestyle, health and wellness foods.
The two companies are developing technologies that will result in a pipeline of healthy functional food products for launch in coming years. These developments will enjoin technologies developed by Anadis, with the efforts of SPC Ardmona.
“We find the Anadis team to be creative in their ability to rapidly develop prototypes for products that are both tasty and healthy. Healthy food has always been an important part of our growth strategy and Anadis now plays an important role in a major project in our technology and innovation platform. We are exploring, in conjunction with Anadis, a variety of products to deliver the healthiness of fruits in unique and tasty ways” says Nigel Garrard, managing director of SPC Ardmona.
SPC recently restructured its R&D function to create the new Technology and Innovation Group, based in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. “We now have a greater capacity for fundamental research, innovation, functional foods, and demanding technologies” says SPC Ardmona in its announcement.
