Regional, rural development and skills and workforce participation minister Jacinta Allan said the manufacturing process at the new Epping facility was based on state of the art technology created by Gruma Technology, a global subsidiary of Mission Foods.

“Gruma has partnered with the Adult Multicultural Education Services (AMES) to train some of the new Mission Foods employees who are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds,” Allan said. “Mission Foods have invested heavily in Victoria, not only commercially, but also from a community perspective.”

“Mission Foods are major sponsors of the Western Bulldogs and plan to expand their employee training program with the assistance of AMES and the Spirit West Bulldogs community based training organisation.”

Mission Foods has operations in Mexico, the US, Central America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
