Several months ago the company’s owner, Chiquita Brands South Pacific (CBSP), announced its intention to sell it off. This announcement was followed swiftly by another unveiling a management buyout of the Barossa Valley-based business.
However, is has now been announced that the MBO attempt has failed. CBSP now plans to merge Angas with its Kangara Farms business, based in Renmark.
