Cain, a former executive of UK supermarket chain and Wal-Mart subsidiary Asda, will take up the position in October, when Alan Williams retires, reported Dow Jones International News.


While working for Asda, Cain held the positions of own brand marketing controller, grocery trading director, deputy trading director, store development director and group marketing director.
