AUSTRALIA: Ginger tested as cure for morning sickness
Researchers have asked for more women to take part in a formal evaluation of ginger, in an attempt to establish its medical efficacy in reducing nausea during pregnancy. Women suffering from morning sickness during pregnancy have long used the herb to reduce vomiting, and 300 women have now taken part in official tests conducted by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Women's and Children's Hospital, Adelaide University.
