Australian grain handler GrainCorp is in talks about a possible merger with Queensland-based Grainco.
A merger between the two companies would create Australia’s second largest grain group after AWB.
GrainCorp managing director Tom Keene said a union with Grainco would provide his company with greater diversity, efficiencies and savings, reported the Australian.
