Australian food company Green’s Foods has launched a bid for cereal manufacturer Lowan Australia.
Green’s said its cash offer of 7.5 cents (US 5.9 cents) a share was a 15% premium over an offer by the Salim Group. Green’s has already acquired 19.9% of the shares of Lowan.
