Australian chemicals and consumer products group Orica has announced the expansion of its Chemnet specialty distribution business through the acquisition of Keith Harris Flavours and Fragrances from KH Foods Limited for A$14.5m (US$11.1m).

Keith Harris Flavours and Fragrances is a specialised manufacturer and supplier of flavours, fragrances and colour additives to the food, beverage, cosmetic and industrial industries.
As part of the acquisition arrangements, Chemnet has also entered into a long-term contract to supply flavours, colours and other ingredients to the bakery businesses of KH Foods.
