AUSTRALIA: Rosella buyout from Unilever returns brand to local hands
Australian company Stuart Alexander has signed a deal with Anglo-Dutch conglomerate Unilvever to bring the Rosella food brand back into local hands. The brand, which includes Rosella tomato sauce, soups, pickles and chutney, has been in foreign control for the last 40 years. The products, which are manufactured at Tatura, were purchased for an undisclosed sum.
