Chief financial officer Tom Pockett said the company plans to expand abroad in partnership with another retailer, reported Dow Jones International News.
Pockett said any overseas partnership would not be named Woolworths because the brand is already present in several markets. He also said the company is not considering a move into the UK market because of the already intense competition in the grocery retail market there.
