The decision was taken in response to the limited space available at its Osseghem site following the growth of Delhaize Belgium and the corporate support functions over the last years,” it said.


The new company support centre, which will house Delhaize Group’s corporate departments, will be located in the Erasmus Office Park in Anderlecht, not far from the Osseghem site. Delhaize Belgium’s head office and the registered office of Delhaize Group will not move.


The relocation of the approximately 75 people concerned is expected to start in September 2005.
