Belgium-based group Lotus Bakeries has said it anticipates fiscal 2013 profits to be “in line” with last year.
The company said sales “grew well” from the start of July to the end of October. In particular, Lotus said its newly-launched Lotus Dinosaurus biscuits have seen “good rotation” in France and Belgium.

The company said investments made in the group’s facilities have been completed “on schedule and within budget”. Lotus has invested EUR18m (US$24.1m) in Netherlands-based business Koninklijke Peijnenburg, updating facilities in Geldrop and at Sintjohannesga.
