The Belgium-based food group, which also makes a range of salads, soups and ready meals, said its fruit and veg business had grown “vastly” and needed a “100% focussed team”.
Francis Kint has been named CEO of the unit, Tom Paemeleire as COO and Eric Aelvoet as CFO, Univeg said yesterday (8 September).
Hein Deprez, meanwhile, will continue as Univeg’s overall CEO, overseeing a business that also includes flowers and plants, as well as transport and logistics.
