BFY Holdings, the US snack company, has appointed former Snyder's-Lance executive Dan Morgan as president and chief sales officer.
The group, which owns the PopCorners brand, also named a chief marketing officer and a vice president for business development at Ideal Snacks, the company's own-label unit.
Morgan is chairman of the Snack Food Association and was formerly chief sales officer at US snacks group Snyder's-Lance. He will be responsible for the sales and distribution of BFY's total portfolio and will report to recently-appointed CEO Paul Nardone.
Nardone pointed to Morgan's contribution, before joining Snyder's-Lance, of helping to launch manufacturers Patriot Snacks and Bay State Snacks.
"Dan is a widely-respected snack industry veteran and an innovative and effective leader, making him an outstanding addition to the BFY management team," Nardone said. "Having built two successful snack businesses from the ground-up before leading sales, distribution and operations for one of the preeminent companies in the snack industry, Dan is bringing a wealth of valuable experience, insights and relationships to BFY as we begin to execute our exciting growth plans."
