Burger behemoth McDonald’s revealed yesterday that next month it will launch a McInternet service for its Brazilian customers in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Each of the 31 restaurants in the two cities will be fitted out with between four and eight computers offering Internet access to patrons sporting same-day receipts for McDonald’s food.

The service is costing the company around US$800,000 to set up, and will be available from September.
