The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Campbell Soup Company Ltd are warning consumers with allergies to milk not to consume Campbell’s brand Hearty Noodles, Thai flavour and Gattuso brand Instant Snack in a Cup, Thai flavour.
Some of these products, which carry an expiry date up to and including April 2003 in the first line of coding on the lid of the cup, contain milk which is not declared on the label:
Campbell’s brand, Hearty Noodles, Thai flavour, Noodles with Vegetables, sold in a 65g cup with UPC 0 63211 14009 5.
Gattuso brand, Instant Snack in a Cup, Thai flavour, Noodles with Vegetables, sold in a 65g cup with UPC 0 64935 18962 9.
Toronto, Ontario-based Campbell is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace, where they have been distributed across Canada. Consumers are urged to return these products to the store where purchased for a full refund. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
