The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning consumers with allergies to hazelnut not to consume Corinta and Nerita brands Organic Swiss Chocolates, because they contain hazelnut which is not declared on the label.

All codes of the following products are affected by this alert:
-Corinta brand Organic Swiss Chocolate with raisins, 40 g with UPC 6 67390 13202 7
-Nerita brand Organic Swiss Chocolate, mocca, 40 g with UPC 6 67390 13192 1
These products are manufactured by Pronatec Ag, Switzerland and are being voluntarily recalled from the marketplace by the importer, Aliments Inari Foods, Montreal, Quebec. These products have been distributed in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to hazelnut. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
