Genovese, the company’s controlling shareholder and chairman of the board, will look to drive Clearly Canadian’s expansion into the natural and organic sectors, the company said.


Clearly Canadian’s food business centres around My Organic Baby, the organic baby food business it bought last May.


“Having spent the past two years re-establishing the company for growth, it is fantastic that we are in a position to add the experience and strength of Mr Genovese to our management team,” said Brent Lokash, former CEO.


Genovese, previously founder and chairman of the board of BG Capital Group, will replace Lokash, who will head up Clearly Canadian’s beverage division and acquisitions.
