The bottled water-to-baby food group Clearly Canadian has appointed Bobby Genovese as board chairman.
Genovese, the company’s controlling shareholder, is the founder and chairman of BG Capital Group, a multinational business consolidator.
Genovese said: “I will apply my expertise however necessary in order to help accelerate the turnaround of Clearly Canadian. We are now well positioned at the forefront of the emergent natural and organic world, and are a much more diverse company than ever before.”
Genovese said he believed the company, which owns baby food company My Organic Baby, has a “solid foundation for incredible growth”, with “tremendous product lines and a world class sales force, distribution and selling agreements”.
