Canadian retailer Couche-Tard has purchased 27 stores in Eastern Washington State through its subsidiary Cirkle K.
The Tri-Cities stores, which operate under the Sun Mart banner, were acquired from Sun Pacific Energy for an undisclosed sum. The stores are located in the Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland areas of the state.
Couche-Tard last month carried out a compulsory acquisition of the final shares it did not own of Statoil Fuel & Retail (SFR). The French retailer has an 81.2% ownership of the issued and outstanding shares in the company.
