Canadian seafood firm Fishery Products International (FPI) has announced the appointment of Bernard E Beckett to the position of chief financial officer, effective 1 January.

Beckett succeeds Allan Rowe, who is leaving the St John’s, Newfoundland-based company at the end of this year, reported Dow Jones News Service.
Beckett previously held the position of secretary treasurer for FPI. He will continue to oversee the company’s corporate secretary and treasury functions as part of his new role as CFO, the company said.
