Intentia Canada yesterday [Thursday] announced it had signed a new contract with Maidstone Bakeries of Brantford, Ontario. Maidstone Bakeries is a fifty-fifty joint venture between Cuisine de France of Dublin, Ireland, and The TDL Group (Tim Hortons) of Oakville, Canada.

The Movex collaboration suite will be installed in Maidstone’s new, 250,000 square foot, state-of-the-art production and distribution facility to handle its entire supply chain and production requirements. Maidstone produces par-baked frozen baked goods for distribution to Cuisine de France and Tim Hortons outlets throughout North America.
The agreement includes a 50-user Movex contract, Devex, implementation services, and a new 820 i-series server. Go-live is scheduled for June 2002, and will include the interfaces developed to DM-Plus Warehousing that were developed at Tim Hortons during its implementation.
