The initial line included 250 products but since January the retailer has added over 175 more products to the range, a spokesperson told just-food.

This summer, Sobeys will add a further 50 products to the Signal range, the spokesperson added.

The news follows Sobeys’ announcement that it is launching a discount chain, FreshCo, in Ontario. Last week, Sobeys opened eight FreshCo stores in the province.
