Canadian retailer Sobeys has teamed up with Disney to launch a range of children’s products under its Compliments own-label range.

The company said today (24 September) that the range would provide parents with “nutritious, delicious meals” for their children.


The packaging used will include four icons, highlighting the benefits in each product, whether it is teeth, bones, eyes or muscles.


The line, aimed at kids aged 3-12, will also include no artificial flavours, no artificial colours and no added hydrogenated oils.


“With childhood obesity on the rise, what our kids are eating is of even greater concern than it was in the past,” said Scott Cooper, Sobeys vice president for consumer marketing and location planning, corporate brands.
