Canadian natural and organic food maker SunOpta has today (12 October) announced two senior management appointments.
Robert McKeracher has been appointed as vice president and CFO. In this role, he will be responsible for the company’s financial affairs and reporting activities. McKeracher has replaced Eric Davis who announced he was leaving the company “to pursue other opportunities” in June.

McKeracher joined the company in 2007 and has served as vice president of financial reporting since 2008. Prior to joining SunOpta, McKeracher was manager of business planning and treasury for Magna Entertainment Corp.
John Ruelle has been appointed to a newly-created role of vice president and chief administrative officer. He will be responsible for human resources and organisational development, IT, shared administrative services, insurance and operational legal management.
Ruelle joined SunOpta in 2007 and has served as CFO and vice president of finance and administration in the SunOpta Grains and Foods Group.
McKeracher and Ruelle will report to Steve Bromley, president and CEO of SunOpta.
