The company, which is owned by two private equity firms, admitted it is looking to sell or close its sites in Exeter and St. Davids. The plans threaten up to 295 jobs.


“CanGro will now shift to outsourcing its canned vegetable and fruit requirements,” said David Hoyles, vice president, pperations for CanGro.


CanGro sells canned fruit and veg under brands names including Del Monte and Aylmer.
