The affected product is Pita’s brand Falafel, No Meat or Dairy, sold in a 370g package with UPC 6 66874 00024 1. All codes of the product are affected by this alert.


Pita’s is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. It has been distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.


Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to wheat. There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of this product.
